It was an inter-county matchup at Elizabethton High School Wednesday as he Elizabethton Lady Cyclones would take on their opponent from just down the road – the Happy Valley Lady Warriors in both junior varsity and varsity affairs.

The second quarter, however, was much different as the Lady Warriors rallied back and made the game much more manageable. Going into the break it was the Lady Cyclones on top, 29-19.

At the half, Elizabethton had the lead, 31-14.
