Annual free fishing  for kids

Bring the kids and enjoy a morning of free fishing and fun at the Workforce Development Complex pond this weekend. The annual Free Fishing Day for Kids will take place Saturday, June 12, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Workforce Development Complex, located at 386 Highway 91 in Elizabethton, across from the Elizabethton Municipal Airport. This year’s event is being sponsored by Carter County Parks & Rec, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and Barker’s Drive-Thru Food. Food will be serve and prizes awarded during the event.
