Good Rockin’ Tonight rounds out 2021 Lakeside Concert Series lineup

Winged Deer Park’s Lakeside Concert Series 14th year concludes Thursday, July 29, with Nashville’s Good Rockin’ Tonight.

With their wild live show, sharp suits, and a pure vintage feel, Good Rockin’ Tonight will transport those present back to the 1950s with their attire, lingo, pop references and music. The group will pay tribute to the music of Elvis, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Cash and others with exciting energy and musical accuracy.

The free concert will be held 7-9 p.m. at 199 Carroll Creek Road, Johnson City. The venue offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs to relax on the grassy hillsides, or dance whenever the mood strikes. The location provides easy access, free parking, concessions, a playground and plenty of room for social distance.

The Lakeside Concert Series is presented in partnership with the News & Neighbor, 101.5 WQUT Tri-Cities Classic Rock, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
