Popcorn fundraiser a popping success for BGCECC

The Boys and Girls Club of Elizabethton and Carter County recently recognized award winners for their 2021 T-Ball and Coach Pitch popcorn fundraiser and also received their check from the hard work by teams.

Rewards for the players were long sleeve shirts with team names, short sleeve pullover batting jackets with team name and player name and long sleeve pullover batting jackets with team name and player name.

Also coaching pullovers were provided to five teams.

The popcorn fundraiser brought in a total of $10,260 to the club. With this money, BGCECC will be able to provide uniforms and equipment plus extra items for next season.

Athletic Director Rik Anderson sent out his personal thanks to all who participated.
